Ingrid Daubechies, Doctor Honoris causa of ENS de Lyon in 2018, is invited at the 32nd edition of Eusipco, Europe's leading signal processing conference, held in Lyon this week.
The 32nd edition of Eusipco, the premier European conference on signal processing, was held in Lyon from August 26 to 30, with a focus on interdisciplinary research in signal and image processing, aimed at addressing major societal challenges. ENS de Lyon is proud to be one of the main collaborators of the event, with its own Patrice Abry, CNRS Research Director at Physics laboratory and Director of IXXI, serving as a co-General Chair.
Additionally, our school is pleased to share that among the plenary speakers at Eusipco 2024 is Ingrid Daubechies, a Belgian-American mathematician and Professor of Mathematics and Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. She was awarded an honoris causa doctorate from ENS de Lyon in 2018 to acknowledge her close professional ties with our school and her remarkable scientific contributions.
