Louise Gerbier, a student in ENS de Lyon's Foreign Languages, Literatures and Civilizations Department (2018-2023, Humanities competitive examination), is the winner of the Maison Française d'Oxford scholarship awarded by the Chancellerie des Universités de Paris for the year 2025. She will reside there in 2026 to pursue her research on the body politic and physical experience during the Northern Irish conflict, and develop comparisons within the English-speaking world.

After passing the entrance exam to ENS Lyon, completing general studies in English at the school and obtaining the agrégation in English, Louise Gerbier is preparing a PhD in Irish studies, focusing on questions of the ethics of the body and political history.
