The 20th edition of ESP will return to the country where the very first photobiology meeting occurred to celebrate this important landmark. As with past ESP congresses, even in virtual mode (19th ESP 2021), we are sure that this meeting will provide a unique international forum for the dissemination of new research, technological development and applications in the photobiological sciences.

With the help of the ESP Scientific Advisory Board, a scientific program of sessions is being created on a wide range of topics covering the main streams of photobiology sciences. These topics will be covered by the leading worldwide experts in 32 parallel symposia, interactive poster sessions and flash presentations, as well as 8 keynote and plenary lectures on exciting developing areas, including talk(s) by the 2023 ESP Young Investigator and ESP Award for Excellence in Photobiological Research Awardee(s). The ESP also provides a fellowship scheme to encourage the active participation of young scientists to the Congress.

This meeting is an awesome forum where academia and industry attendees will find excellent opportunities for productive scientific discussion, exchange of new ideas and fruitful collaborations.
