As a prelude to the series of international bioinformatics conferences that will take place in Lyon in July 2023, we are organizing the Open Bioinformatics Foundation's CoFest (aka Collaboration Festival, or hackathon) at the ENS on July 22nd and 23rd (Saturday and Sunday).
This is a collaborative event giving anyone interested (coder or not) the chance to work in groups on projects related to free software and open science in the fields of bioinformatics (in the broadest sense). This year, the organizers particularly invite anyone wishing to work on projects related to spatial transcriptomics to propose projects and get involved.
Attendance is completely free, thanks to the support of the Complex Systems Institue Rhône-Alpes, the École normale supérieure de Lyon, and the Plant Reproduction and Development Laboratory .
However, we kindly ask you to register on the following document, so that we can organize the catering.
If you have ideas for projects, please also add them on this document. In case you have ideas but cannot attend, just drop us an email.
Remote attendance is also possible. A videoconferencing system will be set up.
