The idea of this symposium is to gather scientists from various field (Oncology, Geography, Territorial and Industrial Ecology, Sociology, Philosophy, Engineering sciences, History ...) to debate about the concept of "metabolism", considering it as a way to debate about the materiality and the relationality in environmental studies.
