Times Higher Education (THE) publishes its Most international universities in the world ranking.
With 2,171 students, 11% of whom are international students, ENS de Lyon is ranked 7th nationally and 121st worldwide.
By joining the Times Higher Education's 2023 "Most international universities in the world" ranking, the ENS de Lyon brings the number of French institutions in this ranking to seven.
In order to proceed with this ranking, THE compiles several evaluation factors from its international "World University Rankings": the international student score, the international staff score, the international co-authorship score and the international reputation metrics.
Analysis by Times Higher Education suggests that diverse communities of students improve the teaching and learning experience, while opportunities for students to spend time abroad better prepare them to become global citizens.
