In the framework of the BIOSANTEXC project, the Office of International Relations of ENS de Lyon hosted a get-together on February 3rd 2025 at RDP (Plant Reproduction and Development Laboratory) to welcome interns and PhD students from the IISERs. They come from the IISER Mohali, Pune, and Tirupati and are currently doing their internships/PhD stay at ENS de Lyon in different laboratories: the LBMC (Laboratory of Biology and Modeling of the Cell), CIRI (Centre international de recherche en infectiologie), IGFL (Lyon Institute of Functional Genomics) and RDP. Other supervisors involved in the BIOSANTEXC project were also invited to the get-together.
Teva Vernoux from the RDP, who is actively involved in the BIOSANTEXC project and supervises the PhD student who joined in January, subsequently organized a guided tour of the RDP greenhouses.
BIOSANTEXC will be welcoming further interns, PhD students and visiting professors starting spring 2025. A BIOSANTEXC Workshop gathering our French and Indian partners, will also be held in France by mid-2025.
