Biography
Professor Soler-Illia holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires (1998) and is former postdoctoral faculty at Université Paris VI, he is currently Director of the Institute of Nanosystems (UNSAM), Principal Investigator at CONICET, and Professor at the University of Buenos Aires. A specialist in hybrid materials, sol-gel synthesis, and mesoporous materials, his current research focuses on the design of multifunctional nanomaterials and nanostructured chemical sensors. He leads several national and international research projects and is actively engaged in the dissemination of chemistry and nanotechnology.
