The European Research Council (ERC) has just announced the list of recipients of its ‘Consolidator’ grants. Among them are two Lyon-based projects led by Marie-Cécile Caillaud and Aurèle Piazza, both members of the ENS de Lyon.

Zayna Chaker, CNRS researcher at the IGFL, and Daniel Stilck França, Inria researcher, LIP member, have been awarded the prestigious "Starting" Grant from the European Research Council (ERC).

Fabien Duveau is a CNRS researcher at LBMC. He has been awarded the prestigious European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant for his eGRIDE project.

Horizon, the EU Research & Innovation Magazine, focuses on the project led by Francis Albarède, recipient of an ERC Advanced grant in 2016.

The European Research Council (ERC) has just communicated the list of "Consolidator" grant recipients. Among them, Mathieu Couttenier's project: ArtiMinDev

The DEEP-SEE project is one of the projects selected by the European Research Council (ERC). It is led by Alain Manceau, Geochemist, emeritus researcher at the Chemistry Laboratory. Stefan Steinmann, researcher at the Chemistry Laboratory, is the scientific leader.

EquipEx+ supported by ENS de Lyon, Spatial-Cell-ID proposes a national device to identify and characterize the spatio-temporal transcriptome of single cells in their tissue.

Audrey Bienfait, CNRS researcher at LPENSL - Physics Laboratory, is one of the recipients of the prestigious ERC Starting Grant.

Turbulent flows, like planetary atmospheres, oceans, or flow around an airfoil or a wind turbine, undergo strong fluctuations. Sometimes, the system may even undergo abrupt transitions between entirely different flow configurations. Such transitions seem to occur at random times, in an unpredictable manner.

On April 10, 2020, ANR announced the funding of 86 projects concerning Covid-19. Six are associated with ENS de Lyon laboratories.

The European Research Council (ERC) has just communicated the list of beneficiaries of the Advanced grants. Each recipient will have up to €2.5 million over five years for his or her research project. Among the 185 projects funded is the LDRam project by Alice Guionnet.

The selection committee met on January 23, 2020 and announced the six winning projects from the Tech4Earth call for proposals. Two of them are carried by ENS de Lyon.

For the second edition, the CNRS call for projects '80 Prime' has once again given special emphasis to interdisciplinarity and risk-taking.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions support researchers at all stages of their careers, regardless of age and nationality. Researchers working across all disciplines are eligible for funding. The MSCA also support cooperation between industry and academia and innovative training to enhance employability and career development.

The 'AI Chairs' aim to offer researchers substantial resources to build a team and carry out an ambitious project whose visible impact is expected.

As part of IDEXLYON, 5 projects were selected from the call for the Scientific Breakthrough Program to receive funding of up to 1.2 million euros per project.

While students are entering the ENS de Lyon, researchers are just as active.

The selection committee met on January 17, 2019 and announced the eight winning projects from the Tech4Inclusion call for proposals. Two of them are carried by ENS de Lyon.

ERC Consolidator Grants support promising researchers who are at the beginning of an independent research career. The consolidation of their own research team will be funded with the grant.

As part of IDEXLYON, 6 projects were selected from the call for the Scientific Breakthrough Program to receive funding of up to 1.2 million euros per project.
