The creation of the lab “Geophysics and planetary fluids” follows in the footsteps of previous Junior Laboratories called “Explain geophysics to me” (2015-2017), “Mediation around geophysics’ (2013-2015), and “Initiation in the dynamics of planetary fluids” (2011-2013). In recent years, the Junior Laboratory has been able to build on its solid experience and create strong links with different stakeholders in teaching and scientific research to promote science and especially geophysics to a wider audience. These efforts have made this Junior Laboratory very popular with schools and the general public, demonstrated by the success of the Science Festival held at ENS de Lyon every year.
