The project "GDRI Integrative Plant Biology Network (GDRI-IPB)" creates for the first time a sustainable research network of pioneer plant scientists in France and in Japan. This initiative assembles major research institutions to promote interactions between multidisciplinary researchers from the two countries. The closure symposium is organized by ENS Lyon, INRA, Kobe and Tokyo universities (Japan).
The Bilateral Closure Symposium of GDRI Integrative Plant Biology Network, will be held near Lyon, October 23-25, 2017. Theme : "From genes to biological systems in response to environment".
This international symposium is supported by : CNRS, INRA, CEA, ENS de Lyon and the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). The GDRI-IPB supports multilateral and interactive activities:

• exchanges of leader researchers
• sharing of new knowledge and innovative research equipment
• international exchanges between young researchers
• promotion of bilateral collaborations.
