News

Since 2010, the East Asia Institute (IAO) has been celebrating the Lunar New Year at ENS de Lyon. Through its association with this global event, which brings together nearly a billion people every year, the strength of the School's links with Asia is also expressed. A cultural and joyful tribute, whose beautiful posters, over the years, retrace the programme.

ENS de Lyon and Asia maintain institutional links. A strategic partnership initiated in 2002 and which concerns education and research. The establishement of the Institut d'Asie Orientale - IAO on the Descartes campus, the creation of the Prosfer and Joriss programs with ECNU and the organisation of the Todai Forum are all milestones in the creation of this dynamic between ENS de Lyon and this part of the world.

On the side of research, our collaborations with Asia take various forms: partnerships, theses, international conferences, International Research Projects (IRP), to name but a few. Discover all of our collaborations.
