Honors and awards

On April 29, 2025, the Société Chimique de France awarded its prizes, including the Prix Pierre Süe 2023 to Anne Lesage, a research engineer at the European Center for High-Field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (CNRS/ENS de Lyon/Université Lyon 1), for her work in developing innovative fundamental methods in solid-state NMR.

Author of two hundred articles and six book chapters, and holder of five patents, Anne Lesage has presented her work at numerous international conferences. She is internationally recognized in the field of NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance). Her contributions have been honored by the CNRS Crystal Medal in 2010, the Prix Jaffé and the Berthelot Medal of the Académie des Sciences in 2018, and the Günther Laukien International Prize in 2023.

The Prix Pierre Süe 2023 of the Société Chimique de France (SCF), a prize awarded for internationally recognized work within the scope of the SCF's activities, is awarded for her outstanding work in developing fundamental and innovative methods in solid-state NMR, notably for her contribution to increasing the resolving power of this spectroscopy (atomic scale) and of dynamic nuclear polarization (amplification actors 20, gain time divided by 400).
