Ilymun 2017 is the 5th Model United Nations (MUN) conference led by the Cité scolaire internationale and the  International school of Lyon. The three-day conference will gather over 400 High School Students from all over the World: more than 13 different countries from 4 different continents! The prestigious venue will be the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon’ campus.
From January 12th to 14th, delegates, directors, speakers and guests will see how this event can be considered as a Model that Unites the Nations. ILYMUN is on the the 400 worlwide Model United Nations (MUN) conferences that simulate the official United Nation debates.
The general theme of the conference will be “Challenges and Responsibilities in a World in transition”. Students discuss global issues and propose possible solutions, drawing upon policies of the countries represented by the delegates. Students are designated as delegates for different countries During this three-day conference, middle school, high school and university students havec the opportunity to practice and develop their debating skills, and adopt a global perspective on matters discussed.
