
Each year several call for proposals are published by national or bilateral funding programmes in order to generate opportunities for collaboration with India.
Below is a list of programs issuing calls for proposals with India on a regular basis.
Charpak scholarship
The Charpak scholarship program is a Campus France grant that offers three types of funding for Bachelor's and Master's level:
IFCPAR/CEFIPRA
The Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA) is a model for international collaborative research in advanced areas of Science & Technology. It is actively involved in supporting Indo-French Science, Technology & Innovation (ST&I) system through various activities. Scientific Collaborative Research Programme focuses on academia-to-academia collaborations between Indian and French academic collaborators in various domains.
CEFIPRA supports two types of projects:
- Collaborative Scientific Research Programme (CSRP)
- Industry-Academia Research & development Programme (IARDP)
In addition, training and workshop can be provided by CEFIPRA, in order to initiate cooperation among French and Indian Scientist in topics recognized as relevant by the two nations.
The French Institute scholarships
The French Institute in India (IFI), the educational, scientific and cultural wing of the French Embassy in India, offers scholarships for young and senior researchers.
This call for applications is dedicated to short-stay missions in France for Indian researchers.
