Congratulations to Alice de Nanteuil, who has been awarded the prize from the Society for Anglo-American Studies of the 17th and 18th Centuries.
Alice de Nanteuil, a student of ENS de Lyon from 2017 to 2023, has received the prize from the Société d'Études Anglo-Américaines des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles (SEAA 17-18) for her Master’s thesis (M2).
The SEAA 17-18 thesis prize, which rewards the best M2 theses defended in 2022–2023, was awarded on March 18, 2025, to Alice de Nanteuil for her M2 thesis titled "Women and Poetry in Early Modern Scotland." The thesis was supervised by Claire Gheeraert-Graffeuille (University of Rouen-Normandy) and was defended at the University of Rouen-Normandy on July 13, 2022.
The award will be formally presented on June 13, 2025, during the SEAA 17-18 annual conference.
