This morning workshop aims to explore the links between Quebec and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in terms of shared languages and heritage. The event focuses on interactions between historical and recent communities, highlighting educational, professional, and cultural practices that strengthen the place of French language in minority communities. It will also analyze the participation of these communities in transnational and institutional networks, and the role of the educational and cultural sectors in their evolution. Researchers, professionals, associations, and engaged citizens will discuss concrete projects carried out in Lyon and Quebec. The goal is to create a network between associations, training programs, and laboratories in order to better articulate cultural inclusion and urban resilience. By making language and heritage bridges between citizens, this meeting aims to highlight the contributions of both territories to the public sphere and open up avenues for shared innovation.
