An international symposium on ‘Teaching mathematics around the world ’ is being organised at the Institut Henri Poincaré on the 18th of November, with Luc Trouche, Professor Emeritus in Mathematics Didactics, Institut Français de l'Education, Ecole Normale Supérieur de Lyon, as a keynote speaker.
This event follows the publication of issue no. 93 of the Revue internationale d'éducation de Sèvres devoted to this theme. The teaching of mathematics is a priority issue for all education systems.
