Alice Briole, Edwige Cyffers and Aurora Pignata, all graduates of ENS de Lyon, have been awarded grants from the L'Oréal-UNESCO program to support the involvement of young women in scientific research.

Louis-Alexandre Couston, Associate Professor of Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University at the Physics Laboratory, and Benjamin Wesolowski, CNRS Research at UMPA, have been awarded the prestigious "Starting" Grant from the European Research Council (ERC).

Interview with Étienne Ghys, winner of the CNRS Medal for Scientific Mediation 2022.

A tireless promoter of the usefulness and beauty of mathematics, Étienne Ghys is one of the four recipients of this distinction created by the CNRS a year ago, to promote scientific mediation activities.

The CNRS and its partners are creating a new scientific interest group to bring together their mathematics skills to help the environment.

Stéphanie Jacquet, Ida Tucker and Monu Kaushik are among the 35 Young Talents of the 2020 L'Oréal - UNESCO Prize for Women and Science.

The European Research Council (ERC) has just communicated the list of beneficiaries of the Advanced grants. Each recipient will have up to €2.5 million over five years for his or her research project. Among the 185 projects funded is the LDRam project by Alice Guionnet.

For the second edition, the CNRS call for projects '80 Prime' has once again given special emphasis to interdisciplinarity and risk-taking.

The 2020 Bôcher Memorial Prize will be awarded to Laure Saint-Raymond on January 16, 2020, during the Joint Prize Session at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Denver.
