A doctoral student and a former ENS student were amongst the prize winners

The 2016 edition of the City of Lyon Young Researchers prize awarded 4 doctoral students from the laboratories of the Université de Lyon for the excellence of their research work and the originality of their thesis. 53 applications were examined by a jury, presided by Christelle Goutaudier, director of the doctoral college of Lyon University. 4 prize winners received their 2016 awards at the Hôtel de Ville de Lyon.
Amongst the 4 selected winners, the ENS de Lyon was proud to count 2 alumni:
- Emeline Comby, a «normalienne» from ENS de Lyon, holding a French specialized agrégation in Geography, presented her thesis at the EVS laboratory.
Research Theme: «Publication of a social problem: water pollution».
Portrait of Emeline Comby - Jenny Sorce, former ENS de Lyon student in Material Sciences, presented her thesis at the Institut de physique de Lyon, on the theme «Explore and understand our cosmic home».
- Florent Valour, a former doctoral student of the CIRI. Subject of his thesis: «Translational Approach of physiopathology, of the diagnostic, and care of osteo-articular infections».
- Olivier Quéré, doctor of IEP de Lyon, post-doc IFE of the Triangle laboratory. Subject of the thesis: «Sociology for institutional socialization: administration, elections, handicap».
