Laurie-Anne Sapey-Triomphe, an ENS de Lyon alumni, and Julien Thiburce, a post-doctoral fellow at the ICAR laboratory, received the "Prix de la Jeune Recherche"* awarded by the Métropole and Ville de Lyon in partnership with the Université de Lyon.
*The Young Research Award
This prize aims to promote the excellence of fundamental and applied research in the laboratories of the Université de Lyon. The prizes are awarded to young doctors under the age of 40 in three areas covering all disciplinary fields: health and society; science and engineering; and humanities and urbanity.
Biohealth and Society Award
Laurie-Anne Sapey-Triomphe works on autism spectrum disorders. Currently a post-doctoral fellow in experimental psychology in Leuven, Belgium, Laurie-Anne is an alumna of ENS Lyon, majoring in the 2013 class of the Biosciences Research Master. She obtained a PhD in neuroscience at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University in 2017.
Humanities and Urbanity Award
Julien Thiburce has just completed his post-doctorate at Université Lumière Lyon 2. For his second candidacy for the prize, he was rewarded for his work in promoting academic interactions with actors from the associative network and metropolitan and international cultural institutions, aiming at a better appropriation of the city by its users.
