A CIRI project, in collaboration with HCL, has united CIRI immunologists to work on understanding the immune response to Coronavirus in patients.

From the room known as the "Café des sports", one of the virtual videoconferencing rooms of the biology department accessible from the Study portal, François Roudier, Director of the department and Nathalie Alazard, Assistant Director, tell us about almost 4 weeks of intense remote work. For the second edition, the CNRS call for projects '80 Prime' has once again given special emphasis to interdisciplinarity and risk-taking.

The Bronze Medal is awarded to early work of researchers who are specialists in their field. This distinction represents an encouragement from the CNRS to pursue research that is well underway and already fruitful.

Together with a collaborator from Kew gardens, two researchers from ENS de Lyon mobilize the plant genetics community to the political challenges associated with the social and environmental crisis, in a featured review in Trends in Plant Science.

On 11 December 2019, the ENS de Lyon welcomed a delegation from the East China Normal University (ECNU).

The 10th Steering Committee of the Joint Research Institute for Science and Society (JoRISS), under the joint chairmanship of Mr QIAN Xuhong (President of ECNU) and Mr Yanick RICARD (Vice-President Research of ENS de Lyon), was held on December 11, 2019 at ENS de Lyon. Six projects were selected in the framework of the call for research projects launched in autumn 2019.

The first edition of Knowledge Summit was held in March 2018. It was organized on the occasion of the State visit of the President of the Republic in India and inaugurated by Mrs. Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation which helped to establish the roadmap for Franco-Indian cooperation for the coming years, in partnership with companies.
