ENS de Lyon won 2nd position at IPT 2019

At the very end of a high-level final, the team of physics students from ENS Lyon finished second in the International Physicists' Tournament 2019, which was held from April 21 to 26 at EPFL in Switzerland.

After winning the French Physicists' Tournament 2019 in February, the team from ENS de Lyon is now competing in the International Physicists' Tournament 2019 at the EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Lausanne (Switzerland). Good luck to them!

At the 69th Annual Meeting of the Max Planck Society in Heidelberg, Professor Alain Pumir from the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) was appointed as an external scientific member of the Göttingen Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization (MPIDS). With this award, MPIDS acknowledges the long-term intensive cooperation between the internationally renowned physicist and the departments of the institute.
