Congratulations to Anne L'Huillier, a former student of ENS de Lyon, laureate of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics, alongside Ferenc Krausz and Pierre Agostini.

The start of the 2023-2024 academic year at ENS de Lyon marks the beginning of a new phase for the institution, following a year of provisional administration. Appointed President on May 26, Emmanuel Trizac outlined his plans to the Board of Directors in July. The Board today approved the composition and remit of the new governance team. 

The2nd  call for applications for the NII Internship Program (Master and PhD students) is currently open. Deadline for applications: October 20, 2023.

Louis-Alexandre Couston, Associate Professor of Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University at the Physics Laboratory, and Benjamin Wesolowski, CNRS Research at UMPA, have been awarded the prestigious "Starting" Grant from the European Research Council (ERC).
