The DEEP-SEE project is one of the projects selected by the European Research Council (ERC). It is led by Alain Manceau, Geochemist, emeritus researcher at the Chemistry Laboratory. Stefan Steinmann, researcher at the Chemistry Laboratory, is the scientific leader.

From Monday 23 January to Friday 27 January 2023, the School provides a week of extracurricular activities for ENS students referred to as “normaliens” who are enrolled in the 1st year of the ENS de Lyon diploma. The objective of these activities is to increase awareness of our students about the complex issues we are currently facing and that we will face in the future (ecological and digital transition, new individual and collective risks, future of research, etc.). Integrated Research Oriented Training Network in Life Sciences through Interdisciplinary Approaches.

Benoît Libert, Octavie Paris and Sébastien Canard received the Special Jury Award for the H2020 PROMETHEUS project.

Congratulations to Elsa Boulet, PhD in sociology (Max Weber Center), who was granted the Humanity and Urbanities Prize, and to Jérémy Salaam, PhD in Chemistry (Chemistry Laboratory of ENS de Lyon), who was granted the Science and Engineering Prize.
