Context of the event
In a world undergoing profound changes—whether ecological, geopolitical, digital, social, or economic—innovation plays a strategic role. It is becoming a structural response to major contemporary challenges, a lever for resilience, transformation, and international collaboration.
With this in mind, the academic institutions of Lyon Saint-Étienne, Grenoble, Clermont-Ferrand (through their respective PUIs) and the University of Sherbrooke (Quebec) invite you to an exceptional meeting as part of the Jacques Cartier Talks 2025 (Entretiens Jacques Cartier).
On the agenda
Reflections and bridge-building around innovation, capitalizing on shared experiences in AuRA and Quebec:
- Examining innovation through the maturation of innovation ecosystems, visions, and major transformations
- Conditions and actions to promote the emergence and development of robust academic spin-offs
- Examining innovation through the concept of societal innovation
We are delighted to welcome more than 30 speakers who will share their expertise and insights on innovation ecosystems. This event also provides an opportunity to engage with various innovation organizations from Lyon Saint-Étienne, Grenoble, Clermont-Ferrand, and Quebec.
Can I bring colleagues with me?
Of course! The event is open to anyone interested in innovation topics (academics, institutions, etc.). Registration is free but mandatory.
