Administrative staff mobility from India to France: the campaign is open.

BIOSANTEXC Research and Academic Mobility Program 2025: the campaign is open.Please note that this year the annual BIOSANTEXC/Franco-Indian Campus Workshop (theme: Global Health) will be held in Paris, France on 08 and 09 December 2025. We therefore strongly encourage candidates to undertake their mobility within the same period in order to optimize scientific encounters and opportunities.

As part of the ENS-IISER partnership, Prakhar BHARDWAJ, IISER Tirupati's doctoral student, completed a three-month PhD research stay at RDP.

As part of the ENS-IISER partnership, Kush GULATI, IISER Mohali's student, focuses his research on analysing single-cell RNA-seq data in skin samples at IGFL.

As part of the ENS-IISER partnership, Naman ARORA, completed his six-month internship at CIRI under the supervision of Saïdi M HOMA SOUDJA in collaboration with Stéphane PAUL’s lab in Saint-Etienne. He is a student at IISER Mohali, and his research focuses on shaping T cell response at homeostasis.

As part of the ENS-IISER partnership, Prisha TANDA, IISER Mohali's student her research focuses on understanding the enigmatic interplays between DNA replication during the S phase and condensin-mediated chromosome assembly during mitosis. She has completed her six-month internship at the Laboratory of Biology and Modeling of the Cell (LBMC).

As part of the ENS-IISER partnership, Ananya CHANDRA, IISER Mohali’s student in Cell Biology, has completed her six-month internship at the Laboratory of Biology and Modeling of the Cell (LBMC) in early 2024.

As part of the ENS-IISER partnership, Raghav GALGALI, IISER Bhopal’s student in Biological Sciences, has completed his six-month internship at the Institute of Functional Genomics of Lyon (IGFL) in early 2024.
In the framework of the BIOSANTEXC project, the Office of International Relations of ENS de Lyon hosted a get-together on February 3rd 2025 to welcome interns and PhD students from the IISERs.

On May 28 and 29, 2024, the Franco-Indian life sciences for global health program BIOSANTEXC held its mid-term workshop. The event provided an opportunity to bring all the partners together to discuss the construction of a global Franco-Indian campus, and to present the concrete results of the first collaborations, such as the emergence of a plant biology project which was the subject of its own workshop on May 30 and 31.

The 11 consortium partners met from May 23 to 25 at IISER Pune, for the official launch event of the Franco-Indian campus for life sciences for health Biosantexc.

The ENS-IISER partnership encouraged Megha Jacob and Deevitha Balasubramanian, graduate students in biology at IISER Tirupati, to apply for a 6-month internship at ENS de Lyon in 2021.

Ashley Suraj Hermon, IISER Bhopal's student in Biological Sciences, has completed his two month internship at the IGFL in mid-2022.

Biosantexc, a Franco-Indian campus project in Health & Life Sciences through the consortium of ENS and IISER
Selected amongst a shortlist of 8 projects, the final Biosantexc proposal "Integrated research-oriented training network in life sciences through interdisciplinary approaches" is to be submitted this Friday, September 30. The consortium consists of the 4 French Écoles Normale Supérieures, the 6 Indian Institutes of Science, Education and Research (IISER) and 4 other Indian research institutes in medicine and life sciences. Results are expected to be announced at the end of October.

The first edition of Knowledge Summit was held in March 2018. It was organized on the occasion of the State visit of the President of the Republic in India and inaugurated by Mrs. Frédérique Vidal, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation which helped to establish the roadmap for Franco-Indian cooperation for the coming years, in partnership with companies.
