Our students have talent! The proof is in the 10th edition of the French Physicists' Tournament where our students finished in second place.

Sabine Fourrier (HiSoMA) and Hervé Piégay (EVS) are among the 24 national laureates. Both of them would like to share this medal with their teams. Congratulations also to our 4 Alumni Ludovic Berthier, Isabelle Cantat, Jeanne Crassous and Ludovic Orlando, also distinguished by the CNRS.

Ashley Suraj Hermon, Megha Jacob and Deevitha Balasubramanian, IISER students, have completed their internships at ENS de Lyon.

The ENS-IISER partnership encouraged Megha Jacob and Deevitha Balasubramanian, graduate students in biology at IISER Tirupati, to apply for a 6-month internship at ENS de Lyon in 2021.

Biosantexc, a Franco-Indian campus project in Health & Life Sciences through the consortium of ENS and IISER
Selected amongst a shortlist of 8 projects, the final Biosantexc proposal "Integrated research-oriented training network in life sciences through interdisciplinary approaches" is to be submitted this Friday, September 30. The consortium consists of the 4 French Écoles Normale Supérieures, the 6 Indian Institutes of Science, Education and Research (IISER) and 4 other Indian research institutes in medicine and life sciences. Results are expected to be announced at the end of October.

Bastien Marguet and Arthur Guerin-Turcq are the lucky winners of this local final. They will go to the national semi-final on April 8 and 9, 2022 in Paris.

Laclarée is one of the start-ups that has been hosted in the ENS Lyon incubator. The company develops adaptive glasses to correct presbyopia. These glasses integrate a patented technology of lenses that automatically adjust in optical power so that the object looked at is always clear, whatever the observation distance.

It is a more colorful, user-friendly library that reopened its doors on January 17.

ENS de Lyon has invested in a unique device in France: microfluidics, optical clamps and confocal microscopy
ENS de Lyon is the first institution in France to invest in the only instrument in the world that allows the simultaneous manipulation and visualization of interactions between single biomolecules in real time. 8 teams in 3 laboratories – LPENSL, LBMC and RDP – are now working with this instrument.
